This is a social story I made for a child who regularly misbehaves whilst travelling on the school bus. The child had responded well to her reward chart at school, hence, I made a reward chart for the bus accompanied with the social story. There was an escort on the bus who carried the social story for the child. When the child sat nicely, she would reward her with a star. When she gets 3 stars, lots of praise was given and the escort will tell her teacher (me) if she's been good and if she's gotten 3 stars. The child is rewarded with a happy face symbol to put on the reward chart she has at school.

This resource is in powerpoint format so you can manipulate it to suit.

This is a story I made to go with the theme of 'Me,myself and I'. Most of the children in my class loves the song 'Old MacDonald had a farm'. So I changed the song and story around to 'Old MacDonald had a body'. I made up the actions to accompany this book, e.g. to the verse of Old MacDonald had two feet, we stamped out feet.

This book teaches maths, pairs, and the body. Laminate and make cards from the last two pages to match the pictures.

This social story was used when we took the children out shopping. I took pictures of the things we saw whilst heading to our final destination (Westfields!). This story teaches ‘I see,’ I would use the story the same way I use the McDonalds story. This story has been modified so that it does not include photos of the children.
